National Elementary Honor Society
Eagle Point Elementary Elementary is proud to announce that it is now a chartered member of the National
Elementary Honor Society. Eagle Point Elementary joins the over 178 schools in the entire state of
Florida to have a charter, and one of only a few schools in Broward County.
The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) was established in 2008 by the National Association
of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) in cooperation with the National Association of Elementary
School Principals (NAESP) to recognize elementary students for their outstanding academic
achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility, to provide meaningful service to the school
and community, and to develop essential leadership skills in the students of elementary schools.
